ANNE BELL (nee RYSZYTYLO) 1917 - 2005 On July 30, 2005, surrounded by the love of her family, with her son at her side, our dear mother and grandmother was received into God's Loving Hands. The love and devotion she brought into our lives is nothing short of a miracle. Mom was predeceased by Martin, her devoted husband of 44 years; her sister Rose; and brother Mike. She is survived by her sisters, Mollie and Kay. Mom was born in Rossburn, MB. In her youth she worked the land with her father and enjoyed horseback riding, participating in church plays and Ukrainian Dancing. She moved to Winnipeg where she married Martin and raised three loving children, Beverley (Laara) and husband Eddie, Ronnie and Gail and husband Theo. It gave her great joy to share in the lives of her grandchildren, Cheryl, Laura and husband Adam, Corey, Matthew, Jackie and husband Randy, Joy, Barry and Rhonda and husband Scott; and her great-grandchildren, Ethan, Kyler, Kalyn, Nicole and Russel. Our mother and grandmother enjoyed preparing big homecooked meals and entertaining. We have very fond memories of our weekly picnic feasts at Grand Beach, holidays in Rossburn and travelling to British Columbia. Mom loved to cook, bake, pick berries, garden and can and freeze fruits and vegetables for her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, knitting and travelling. Mom was part of the family at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home for seven years, where she participated in many wonderful activities and outings. We greatly appreciate their kindness, love and care. This wonderful woman gave herself to everything and everyone she loved. Mom gave everything she had, her time, love, compassion, understanding, wit, charm and patience. She will be deeply missed, but what she left with each of us, will be cherished forever. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4 at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME is in care of arrangements; 783-7211.
