Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMORRIS VICTOR DE ROO It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Morris Victor De Roo. He passed away peacefully Sunday, July 31, 2005, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Morris was born September 12, 1914, in Swan Lake, MB. He married the love of his life, Mary, in 1937. He worked at his father's hardware store until he moved his family to Brandon, MB, in 1966. After moving to Brandon, he worked for Ralph's Plumbing and Heating, Bar Repka and Summit Mechanical. He remained a part of Knights of Columbus (Campeau Council) in Swan Lake. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary and children, Maureen (Bill Robinson), Rick (Shannon), Terry (Nancy), Ken (Julie), Laurie (Kathy), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Morris is also survived by brother Richard and sisters, Martha Devloo and Bernie Decosse. He was predeceased by his son Dennis and daughter-in-law Yvonne; sisters, Irene, Mary Van Cauwenberghe and Anna Briem and brother Joe. He will always be remembered for his love and devotion for his family and his willingness to always help others in need or less fortunate. A celebration of Morris' life was held August 3 at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Brandon. In memory of Morris, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
