PHYLLIS PAGE Surrounded by her family, our mother Phyllis Page peacefully ended her battle with cancer on Thursday morning, August 4, 2005 at Victoria General Hospital at the age of 73. Phyllis is survived by her three children, Darlene Mailhot (Lionel), Greg Page, Patti Martel (Tony); along with her loving grandchildren, Renee, Janelle, Kyle, Jennifer (John), Cari-Ann, Gregory Jr., Tera, Brandon and Laryssa. She's lovingly remembered by her brothers-in-law, her sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Victor Page in 2003; her parents, Nick and Mary Kazimir; brothers, Walter and Stanley Kazimir; sisters, Anne Hynes, Frances Shandruk, Elsie Hebert and Emily Homenko. Phyllis was born in Arborg, MB and spent all of her adult life in Winnipeg. She was well involved in the church and community. She was a long standing member of the Catholic Women's League (CWL) and enjoyed many early years as a member of the women's bowling league. Phyllis' calm and strong fortitude against life's struggles was a living example to anyone who knew her. Her kindness and gentle spirit was felt by all. Her creative and unique style was displayed through her sewing, baking and crafts. The family is grateful to Drs. Young and Tomy, and the nursing staff on Unit 5 at Victoria General Hospital. With special thanks to Dr. M. Van Rooyen. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St., Winnipeg MB. Interment to follow.
