JEAN SKWAREK (nee STRELECKI) Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at the Deer Lodge Centre, Jean died at the age of 89 years. Remaining to cherish her memory are her daughter Betty (Bruce); son Larry (Sonya); grandchildren, Lori (John), Bryan (Tina), Bob (Pamela) and Lynne (Scott); great-grandchildren, Dustin, Shawna, Trevor, Nastassja, Caitlyn, Anika and Alyssa; great-great-grandson Tristan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jean was predeceased by her husband Walter; daughter Joyce; her parents; one brother and her sisters. Jean and Walter were married on May 13, 1934 and lived in Petersfield, where they spent 62 happy years. They both enjoyed gardening and visiting with family and friends. A Celebration of Jean's life will be held on Monday, August 8 at 10:30 a.m. in Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. at Mount Royal Road. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at DLC-5W. Your compassion and caring will always be remembered.
