Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE (KAY) MASNYK On Wednesday, August 3, 2005, Kay Masnyk passed away at her residence at the age of 85 years. Kay is survived by daughters, Marlene (Amel) and Donna (John); son-in-law George; grandchildren, Brad, Brent (Leanne), Kevin (Karen), Cheryl (Darrell), Colin, Brenda and Carrie; great-grandsons, Geordan, Riley and Caden; brother Joe; special niece Lorraine and family as well as other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas; and daughter Elizabeth. Mom was born in Cloverleaf, MB, on May 1, 1920. In 1940 she married Nicholas and moved to Winnipeg to start a new life. Mom kept busy raising her daughters. She enjoyed growing flowers and took delight in cooking for family get-togethers. Prayers will be held on Sunday, August 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 8 at 10:00 a.m., also at the chapel, with Rev. Bohdan Borowec officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Mom, we will miss you, your stories and your great cooking. VICHNAYA PAM'YAT CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

I lived 2 doors down from Kay for 12 years. My 9 year old would periodically help her with minor chores. We will miss her...she was a wonderful woman and to the end took pride in her home and flowers. Rest in peace Kay - Posted by: Colleen Kloschinsky (Acquaintance) on: Aug 06, 2005
