NESTOR RYBCZUK SR. Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Nestor passed away with his family by his side. Nestor was born April 23, 1924, in Horodenka, W. Ukraine, and immigrated to Canada in 1948. He was employed with Quality Bed and Spring, retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, and in earlier years, its Parish Council and Choir. Nestor is survived by his wife Paranka (Pearl); sons, Walter (Diane), Nestor (Carol) and Ihor (Cindy); grandchildren, Sarah and Nicholas. He was predeceased by his parents Volodymyr and Maria; daughter Oksana in infancy in March 1961; and his sister Zenovia. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday August 8 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St., with a Basilian Father officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Nicholas Special Projects Fund, 737 Bannerman Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2X 1J9.
