ALBERT DESMET Passed away at the Lorne Memorial Health Centre, Swan Lake, MB, on Thursday, August 4, 2005, at the age of 89 years, Albert DeSmet, of Cypress River, MB. Albert leaves to mourn his passing his sons, Henry and wife Rosamonde of Winnipeg, Gerry and wife Yvonne of Cypress River; daughter Lorette and husband Randy Wilson of Treherne; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Clarice Wytinck of Swan Lake, Celina (Gerard) Lippens of Holland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Albert was predeceased by his wife Clara (nee Martens) in 1998. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Alphonse Roman Catholic Church with Celbrants Father Firmin Michiels and Father Mario de Jesus Vahos Mesa. Interment to follow in the St. Alphonse Parish Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will be held in the Cypress River Memorial Hall.
