Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES BEREZUK (nee PELTZ) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on August 3, 2005, at Victoria Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen on November 2, 1988. Mom leaves to mourn her son Reginald (Veronica); daughter Debbie (Marion); grandchildren, Kristen and Mathew, Terri (Frank), Jason (Kristy); great-grandsons, Tyler and Braylen. Also left to mourn are sisters, Eleanor, Jean (John); and brothers, Stan and Edward (Mina) Peltz; sister-in-law Eleanor Peltz; and many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her parents, William and Annie Czepilski; brothers, Steven and Caz Peltz; and sister Mary Moran. Frances Peltz was born March 7, 1921. She fell in love with a wonderful man named Steve, got married, became Frances Berezuk and had two children. She was a devoted wife and mother. Our mom's entire life centred around her family. She had so much love and respect for her brothers and sisters, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, to her they were all one family. They shared in the happy times and were all there during the sad times. She always said how lucky we were to have such a close family. Mom also had a unique relationship with the nieces and nephews. It made her so happy when they would drop in and they would never miss the opportunity to come over for her wonderful dinners. She felt blessed that she got to share in their lives. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren loved her stories about the old days and her unique sense of humour. She was always there to listen to them when they needed help or guidance. This bond of love will last forever between them. Another love mom had was the cottage at Falcon Lake. So many happy times were had there over the years, by so many of us. Aunty Eleanor, Jeanette and Uncle Ed will have to carry on the blueberry picking, and make sure you pick them clean Uncle. If you were to ask mom about her Bridge group her eyes would light up. She looked forward to getting together although she said she didn't play that well, the company of the women was what she enjoyed. Our mom was the driving force of our family. She believed if you were able to help others you should. She always wanted us to be there for one another and to be good to one another. She was my best friend and there is a big hole in my heart now that she is gone. My brother and mother had a bond that was special. He always seemed to show up when she needed a shoulder to lean on and she just knew that he was there for her. Our mom was happiest when we were all together. She truly enjoyed doing things for others. We will carry on what you taught us and see you on the other side Mom. All our Love, Your Family Special thanks to Dr. Smelsky for taking Mom under her wing and really caring about her and for being a pillar for me. Thanks for the perseverance of the intensive care nurses and Dr. Lipson. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 E at Navin Road. A private Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9, as we have lost many of our family to this dreadful disease.
