Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER WAWRUCK With heavy hearts and deepest sorrow the family of Walter Wawruck announces his passing at the Arbrog and District Hospital on August 6, 2005 at the age of 84 years. Walter was born in Vidir, MB on June 9, 1921. Walter was a trustee and a secretary for the Hayek School District and a trustee for the Arborg School District for a number of years. On December 31, 1955 he married Alice (nee Bale) of Fisher Branch, MB and together for almost 50 years they farmed both his father's homestead and their own quarter of land. Due to health conditions, Walter's love for the outdoors and being an active farmer came to an end a couple of years ago. Although he didn't want to, he had to give up his homestead and move to town. His memory will always be cherished by his family. He leaves to mourn his wife Alice, three daughters, Linda (Paul) of Winnipeg, and their children, Kim (Myles), Teri (Jim) and Jenny; Beverly of Arborg, and her children, Ryan and Sarah; Charlene (Kelly) of Saskatoon, and their children, Corbin and Carter; two sisters, Lil and Anne of Ottawa. Walter was predeceased by his brother Andy of Winnipeg, sisters, Olga and Stella of Vancouver and son Michael of Arborg. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel (2nd Avenue North), Arborg. Rev. Fr. Harry Chuckry will officiate, with interment to follow in Haycek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Walter's life can be made to the Heart and Stroke Fondation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or a charity of your choice.
