Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTRUDY ANNE FOSTER On Friday, August 5, 2005, Trudy Anne Foster of Arborg suddenly passed on. She leaves in mourning her beloved husband Ken; and her two sons, Keith (Annya) and Kyle and wife Vanessa. She also leaves her sister Betty Kay Little and husband Garry of Lockport; her mother-in-law Addie Foster; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold wife Alda, Richard, and Albert, wife Elaine; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Trudy was predeceased by her parents John and Ena Johnston of Selkirk and her father-in-law Bud Foster of Vidir. Trudy was born March 27, 1947 at Shoal Lake Hospital. She spent her early years on the family farm at Kelloe where she attended school at the one room Kelloe School and then Shoal Lake Collegiate. In 1961 she moved with her family to East Selkirk where her father worked at Searle Farms. It was here she met the love of her life Ken, her husband of 37 years. Trudy attended Selkirk Collegiate and then went on to RRCC where she graduated as a lab technician. Trudy and Ken were married April 6, 1968 and took up farming in the Vidir area. Trudy worked for a number of years at Arborg and Fisher Branch Hospitals before devoting her life to raising her family. Besides raising her family and working on the family farm, Trudy devoted her time and energy to serving her community as a school trustee, and a member of the Arborg Hospital Auxiliary and Arborg Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Trudy's interests were varied. She was involved with curling and 4H as a young girl and carried those interests through to her sons. But her real passion in life was her friendships and family. Trudy took great pleasure in spending time with her friends whether it was at the local dances or sitting around the tale at a game of cards. Trudy's pride and joy were her two sons. Everyone who knew Trudy will miss her letters, calls and most of all her funny stories. Trudy's last years were made much more enjoyable due to the visits and phone calls from her wonderful friends that she loved so much. They know who they are. A memorial service to celebrate Trudy's life will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Arborg Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home of Arborg in care of arrangements.

Dear Ken, Betty Kay and families: I was so very sorry to hear about Trudy. What a shock it must have been for all of you. Although I hadn't seen her for many years, I did keep up with some of the family activities via other relatives. (Her mum Ena and my mum Alice were cousins.) Please accept my sincere sympathies. - Posted by: Lynn Bardsley Redekopp (Family) on: Aug 08, 2005
