Hilda was born to Fred and Agnes Bogue on February 24, 1918. She grew up and received her education in the Ingleside District. In 1938 she married Gordon Ingram, and together they farmed and raised twelve children. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mom's greatest joy was her family and her home. She loved the outdoors, gardening, berry picking, knitting, sewing, flowers, cooking and baking, as well as having a great love for birds and animals. Hilda was very involved with the Silver Threads Senior Centre, where she enjoyed old time dancing, cribbage and socializing with her many friends. Predeceased by her husband Gordon in 1967, infant son Arnold John, sons James Gordon and Roger Philip, brothers Frank and Jack Bogue, and sister Muriel Grant, She is survived by son Ken (Karen) of Sherwood Park, AB, daughter Lois Colbert of Calgary, AB, daughter Linda (Ken) Martin of Winnipeg, sons; Stan (Barbara) of Oakville, Ron (Bev) of Slave Lake, AB, daughter Valerie (Don) Brook of Dugald, son Rick (Robin) daughter Barb McCulloch, son Chris (Darcy) all of Portage, 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Interment will follow in the family plot at Oakville Cemetery. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Sask. Ave East, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8. Words cannot express our enormous loss. Mom, we'll miss you forever. Dear Lord Put your arms around her, Hold her in your tender care, Make up to her for all she suffered, And all she had to bear, She went through so much in silence, Her spirits didn't bend, She faced her pain with courage, Until the very end. It broke our hearts to lose her, But she didn't go alone, For part of us went with her, The day God called her home. Friends may leave a message of sympathy on our web site www.omegafuneralhome.com Dedicated to those we serve .
