GEORGE A. SLOAN Peacefully on August 6, 2005 at Toronto Western Hospital. George was born in Winnipeg but spent most of his life in Toronto where he enjoyed a long career with Shell Oil. He was a great admirer of thoroughbred horses and enjoyed watching them race. George will be remembered by his relatives and friends as a true gentleman. He will be sadly missed by his sister Wilma, nieces, Maureen, Marilyn and Andrea and nephew Kip. The family would like to thank Dr. Ellison for the many years of dedicated care and special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Toronto Western ICU. At George's request no formal funeral service will be held. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice.
