It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son, brother, husband, father, uncle, nephew, and cousin Alphonse Larocque Jr. on Saturday, August 6, 2005. He was predeceased by his father Alphonse Sr.; grandparents, Lawrence and Alice Larocque, and Alex and Louise (nee Pierre) Tait; aunts, Sophie, Annette, Louella, Mary, Angeline A., and Vivian; and uncles, Lawrence, Philip, Stanley, Wilfred, and John. Alphonse is survived by his mother Martha Larocque (nee Pierre); wife Merideth Chaske; children, Jesse, Kahrina, Alandise, Alphonse III, Shanita, Charissa, and Shawn; brothers, Dwayne, Earl, Gerald, Aaron, Bryan, and Dorian; sisters, Norma and Aileen; as well as numerous aunties, nephews, cousins, and one uncle Willie Larocque. The wake continues at the Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation Community Hall.
