CARL SAYDAK 1908 - 2005 Carl slipped away quietly and peacefully as he lived his life. Carl immigrated as a two year old in 1910 from Europe with his parents. He was predeceased by his mother and father; his brothers, Joseph and Peter; and his special friend Edith Lowe. He is survived by his sister Stella Frovich and his baby brother Bill, many nieces and nephews. Carl was a lifelong CNR railway employee, this employment with the railway was interrupted in order to do his military service. Carl will always be remembered for his very straight pointing finger, and a few of his favourite sayings, such as you got to take it as it comes , I guess I haven't suffered enough , wait till you get there , and we would sum it all up with his perennial positive saying, But I've had a good life . Many thanks to the staff of Bethania Personal Care Home for the loving care given to Carl. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, August 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Private interment at a later date.
