GERALD ERIC WALLS Gerald Eric Walls, born May 31, 1929 in St. Boniface, MB. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father on August 10, 2005 with his family by his side. He fought a brave battle with cancer for a year and a half. He leaves to mourn his wife, Marion; daughter, Janice of Penticton; son, Robert; grandsons, Scott, Ross and Thomas of Penticton; brother, Roy Cecile of Winnipeg; numerous nieces, nephews; his stepchildren, Julie and Gerry and many wonderful friends. Dad was predeceased by our mother Barbara; parents, Eric and Beatrice and youngest brother Geoffry. Dad worked for Dominion Rubber/Uniroyal Tires for 40 years. Starting out in Winnipeg, MB and retiring with them in Kelowna. By request Dad wanted to be cremated and have no memorial service. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. We would like to thank Dr. Penner and the wonderful nurses at Cottonwoods Douglas Fir Unit for their compassion and care. A celebration of Dad's life will be held for family and friends on Monday, August 15 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at The Harvest Golf Club, 2725 K.L.O. Rd., Kelowna, BC.
