ROSEMARY T. WILLHIDE After a battle with leukemia, Rosemary gained her angel wings on July 26, 2005. Born Rosemary Theresa O'Connor on September 29, 1939 in Winnipeg, she moved to California in 1946 after the death of her mother. She was predeceased by Donald, her husband of 47 years. She is survived by her children, Helen, Bryan, Donald Jr., Brenda, Patty, Bob, Terry, Peggy, Kathy, Julie and Rosemary and 31 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Also mourning her loss are her brother, Jay and sisters, Pat Anderson and Peggy Mace all of California and Dona Brekelmans of Winnipeg. Rosemary was famous for her ability to offer endless unconditional love and giving to all who knew her. This was continually shown through her open arms acceptance of everyone who came in contact with her. All will miss her baking, babysitting, and other expressions of care for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many others. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Charles Catholic Church in N. Hollywood C.A. and burial beside Donald in San Fernando Mission Cemetery. An Irish wake and celebration of her life followed the ceremony. Friends may wish to make donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
