JOSEPH ALAN LUSIGNAN On Sunday, August 7, 2005, Joseph Alan of Winnipeg, MB, passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre, at the age of 84 years. Remaining to cherish his memory are his son Alan and daughter Helen, both of Winnipeg; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers, Ralph of Delta, BC and Bob of Thunder Bay, ON. Following the Second World War service, as an Able Seaman with the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve, Joe worked for many years at the Polo Park Race Track among the horses he always loved. In keeping with Joe's wishes, interment will take place in a plot beside the graves of his parents in Christ Church Cemetery, Stony Mountain, MB; close to the home where he was raised, the school he attended, the rink where he skated and the countryside through which he wandered and played as a child and teenager. For further information regarding Joe's graveside service, please contact either Helen Robinson at 885-7361 or Ralph Crawford at (604) 943-5519, e-mail crawford@dccnet.com Our family extends special thanks to the nurses, aides and social workers of Tower Three at the Deer Lodge Centre for the constant care and comfort Joe received over the past year. In particular, very special thanks, to Mrs. Pat Trachtulec, neighbour and dear friend, who was always willing to extend her I care benevolence and compassion on every required occasion.
