PEARL REMILLARD (nee DANIEL) June 4, 1925 - August 10, 2005 It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved Mother Pearl Remillard at the age of 80, on August 10, 2005, at the St. Boniface Hospital. Pearl was predeceased by her husband Noe; daughter Louise Ferguson; mother Helen Daniel; sisters, Joyce, Susan; brother Willy. Pearl moved from Scotland to Canada in 1938 at the age of 13 to attend school. She met her loving husband Noe during the Second World War and married in 1944, and raised six children she was so proud of. Pearl worked for many years at the Norwood Hotel. Pearl retired in 1983 as the same time as her husband and best friend Noe and they both enjoyed the next 19 years of quality time together. Left to cherish her memory are five surviving children, Raymond (Lillian), Annette Banera (Trent), Denis (Pat), Elizabeth Carpenter (William) Lester (Barb); 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters in Scotland, Ella, Mary and Audrey. Pearl was a fun loving person who will be truly missed by her family and many friends. A funeral mass celebrating Pearl's life will be held on Monday, August 15, at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St., with Fr. Lucien Roy officiating. • Pearl was my Nana, but she was so much more. She was an inspiration to me and my friends. As she aged, she seemed to get younger. She treated my friends like her friends and was always the life of the party! She was a joker at heart and she was always laughing. She will be missed and can never be replaced. She is now back together with my Papa, her one true love and they again, will live hapily ever after! - Posted by: Jenelle CArpenter (Family) on: Aug 14, 2005
