DONALD WARREN PARMETER Peacefully on August 11, 2005, Donald passed away at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 60 years. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Vicki; daughters, Brandi (Terry) and Tia; son Aaron; grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew and his mother Valerie and Faith; brother David (Aimee); step-sisters, Bonnie (Lloyd) and Kim; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased his mother Peggy and father Leslie. Donald was born in Kenora, ON, on July 18, 1945 and moved to Winnipeg as a young child. Donald worked for Duffy's Taxi Limited from 1966 until illness in 2002. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Ancient Landmark #3 and was also a member of the Khartum Temple Patrol since 1987. The family would like to thank the staff of CancerCare at St. Boniface Hospital and especially all of the staff of Riverview Health Centre E3. Thank you to Barry Homenick for helping us through a difficult time. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Chaplain of the Khartum Shrine. A Masonic Memorial Service will follow conducted by Ancient Landmark #3. (Masonic regalia to be worn). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donald's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
