TERESA (TERRY) DIANE STEBBE (nee KUBESH) On Sunday, August 14, 2005, Terry passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 53 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Remaining to cherish her memory are her daughter Llana Henderson (Shane); son Jon-Nathan; father Ralph and his wife Dorothy; brother Ken Kubesh (Mary); sister Carol Weselak (Ernie); Wayne Stebbe, father of Llana and Jon-Nathan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Terry was predeceased by her mother Lillian in 1974. Terry was born and raised in Beausejour, MB. While growing up, she had a great love for Roy Rogers and horses. After many years, her cowgirl dreams finally came true with her first horse Rebel. Her second passion was her 1970 and one half orange Cuda, with which she won several trophies while competing in drag races. In 1981, Terry moved to Winnipeg, where she raised her family. For the past 10 years, she was employed with the Manitoba Lotteries as a Technical Specialist, where she met and made many friends. As well, she took great pride in single handedly renovating her home. Terry's thoughtfulness and carefree personality will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, August 18 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 530 Atlantic Ave., Beausejour with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Ladywood, MB. For those who wish, viewing will be held this evening, Wednesday, August 17 between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's All Beliefs and Faiths Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Boulevard. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Terry's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 400 - 141 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 0R3.
