LUCIE MARIE CARRIERE (nee THOMAS) Peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2005 with family and friends by her side at the Health Sciences Centre, Lucie was called to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Lucie was born on August 6, 1954 in Cross Lake, MB. A devoted Christian, Lucie enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren, attending church gatherings in different communities and visiting family and friends. Lucie also travelled great distances to attend family celebrations as well as showing support to family and friends during times of sadness. Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband Andrew; daughters, Terry Lynn, Pamela (Ivan), Shelley, Miranda, Diana; son Ambrose; sisters, Grace, Lydia (Herman), Susie (James), Flora (George); brothers, Antoine, Andrew (Eileen); grandchildren, Dylan, Anton, Laurel, Keenan, Annika and Kalley; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lucie was predeceased by her daughter Priscilla; grandchild Angel; father Ambrose; mother Priscilla; and sister Dorothy. Lucie's husband and children would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Thompson General Hospital and Health Sciences Centre. Also to Knysh Funeral Chapel and Northland Funeral Home Services. A heartfelt thank you to all family and friends who were with us during this time, including Mr. Donnie McKay and Mrs. Martha Garrioch for the extra support and time you gave to our family. Thank you also to the donators of Cross Lake who made it possible for us to be with Lucie during her last days. The Lord is my Light and my Salvation. (Psalm 27:1).
