DANIEL SICOTTE It is with heartfelt sorrow that we say good-bye to Daniel Paul Michel Sicotte, born June 11, 1979. He succumbed to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Stony Plaines, AB, early Sunday morning, August 14, 2005, at the age of 26. He is survived by his mother Claudette and stepfather Jim Simpson; his father Lucien Sicotte and stepmother Karmon; his brother Luc (Natacha) and sister Brigitte. His stepsiblings, Debbie (Kevin), Dean (Joanne), Rory, Lindsay, Kristopher; his half-brothers, Alain and Raymond; nephews, Kyle and Jake and his niece Teagan. He leaves behind an enormous amount of friends and family that loved him very much and will miss him greatly. He left a lasting impression on everyone he met with his quick smile, love of dancing and his unique sense of style. He was always willing to help out a friend no matter the inconvenience to himself; and generally the life of the party. Love you forever and always. Prayers will be held Friday, August 19 (tonight) at 7:30 p.m. and services Saturday, August 20 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cathedral in Gravelbourg, SK.

  • Dear Sicotte Family, I'm so saddened to hear of your loss. I gave birth to a boy on June 11, 1979 in Winnipeg. I was on the internet "googling" around and came across Daniel's obituary. I really don't want to invade your privacy but, if he was adopted, I may have given birth to him. If and when you feel the time is right, please respond. If he wasn't adopted, I will be relieved for myself but still very saddened for your loss. He seems like he was a happy, loving young man with lots of spirit.
