A. LYNNE JOHNSTON September 12, 1949 - August 17, 2005 After a long, courageous battle with cancer, Lynne was taken home with the angels. Lynne was born in Winnipeg, MB. She grew up in the St. Vital area, graduating from Glen Lawn Collegiate. She met and married Robert Johnston and moved to Transcona where they raised their two children, Tracy (Andy) and John (Kellea). Lynne had an amazing sense of humour which was with her right to the end. She loved her card games, music and movies. As well as her two children, she leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Audrey McCosh (Frank), her grandson and joy of her life, Evan, her brothers Kim Gallagher (Margie) and Mike Gallagher (Debbie) and many family and friends, as well as the grand-critters ! Lynne was predeceased by her father, Bill Gallagher in 1965 and her husband, Robert, in 1998. The family would like to say many thanks to the staff at River View Health Centre on 3E for their incredible caring support to both Lynne and her family through this difficult time. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Alphonsus Church on Munroe at Brazier. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made in her memory to The Children's Wish Foundation, Manitoba Chapter, Lower Level - 350 St. Mary Ave., R3C 3J2. Rock Fontaine, Funeral Direntor, in care of arrangements 233-2576.
