EVON (YVONNE) MARIE HURYK (nee AERSSENS) October 31, 1925 - August 17, 2005 On Wednesday, August 17, 2005, at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, MB, after a brief illness, Yvonne Huryk, aged 79 years, beloved wife and mother, passed away. Predeceased by her husband Joesph in 1971; her parents Valerie (1953) and Bernard (1980); her siblings, Maria (1949), Joanna (2005), Theophile (1986), John (1973), Octavie (1969), infant Joesph (1923) and Anne (1982). She is survived by her children, Shirley (Helmut), Wayne (Maryanna) and Victor, all of Winnipeg. She also leaves to mourn her sister Alida and family; her nephew Joseph and family; as well as many nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 23 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Lupicin Parish Cemetery in St. Lupicin, MB. A time of refreshment and fellowship will follow at the Altamont Community Hall. Memorial donations may be to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, or to a charity of one's choice.
