DORA HUNKIN On Thursday August 18, 2005, Dora Hunkin, nee Schroeder, aged 88 years, of Morris, passed away peacefully at home, with family by her side. She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband Ken; stepchildren Mike and Mickie of Nipawin, Sk, Colin and Merelyn of Oakville, Keith and Linda of Red Lake, On, Pat and Glenn Sproule of Kamloops, B.C., and Michelle and Patrick Cennon of Prince Albert, Sk; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother Benno Schroeder, sisters Susan and Lawrence Giesbrecht and Helen Martens, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dora was predeceased by two sons Peter and Norman Martens. The funeral service will be held at the Morris United Church on Sunday August 21 at 2:00 p.m., with interment in the Lowe Farm Cemetery. There will be viewing at Morris Funeral Home today (Saturday) from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the M.C.C.
