PAUL REEVES BERGMAN Peacefully on August 18, 2005, Paul Reeves Bergman passed away at Golden West Centennial Lodge at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his son Eric; brother Dennis; and wife Margaret. He is survived by his sister Veronica; partner Irene Downes; daughter Gail (Lewis); sons, Mark (Patricia), Kelly (Sandy), Glen (Velvet), Michael (Shafia), Christopher (Linda); and thirteen grandchildren. Paul was born in Winnipeg of an Icelandic family. He served as a decorated Wellington Bomber Pilot in the Second World War attached to the R.A.F. in North Africa. Paul was a real Manitoban outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing throughout his life. His Christian faith was always a great sustenance. He has laid down his burden and is at rest with the Lord. Cremation has taken place and a funeral liturgy will be said at Golden West Centennial Lodge, 811 School Rd. (corner of Ness) St. James, Winnipeg on Sunday, August 21 at 11:00 a.m. If friends so desire, donations in Paul's memory to Parkinson's Society Manitoba, 302-7 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1M4 and Grace Hospital, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7 would be very much appreciated. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; Old things have passed away; Behold, all things have become new. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715
