Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD CLARENCE WALKER Edward passed away August 16, 2005 at Mayerthorpe, AB at the age of 82 years. He leaves to mourn his passing two daughters, Linda Rapas (Brian) and Dianna Buckle (Len); one son Edward Walker (Rose); three sisters-in-law, Blanche Walker of Winnipeg, Marjorie Walker of Vancouver and Rose Walker of Calgary; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Edward is predeceased by his first wife Dorothy and second Bea; mother and father; sister Laura; brothers, William, James, Douglas (Archie), Lenard; stepson Allen Kirton. Edward was born in Kelowna, BC on March 8, 1923 and moved to Cypress River with his family at the age of four. He worked as a Long Shoreman for 25 years in Vancouver before retiring to Winnipeg. Ed was a member of the Sam Steel Legion and Army and Navy. Ed spent many months in Concordia Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 23 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with interment and reception to follow.
