VIOLET LILLIAN NEYEDLY May 2, 1923 - August 19, 2005 Peacefully at the Beausejour Health Centre Vi passed away at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by her husband Archie in 1980, her siblings, Elsie, Clara, Kurt and Bill. Vi will be lovingly remembered by her son Ralph (Valerie), her daughter Florence and her sisters, Hilda and Martha as well numerous nieces and nephews. Mom's early years were spent helping her father, brothers and sisters clean the Elementary School in Beausejour. She had many jobs in and around Beausejour but her favourite was at the Beausejour Egg Grading Station. She met and later married Dad and side by side they started their own clothing business. Old friends, relatives, new friends could always shop/socialize/ visit at the store . Mom's activities included skating and curling with the gals , visiting relatives and fishing with dad. Her Master Angler Award winning Northern Pike was one pound heavier than Dad's and she let everyone know about it. Mom took great pride in her committee involvement with the Beausejour Pine Falls Brass Band and in the recording of their album. Another important part of Mom's life were her many friendships. Upon Dad's passing, they were always in constant contact. When the girls were coming over it was warm up the tea pot and get out the dainties . Topics could be anything but the togetherness was what really mattered. The family would like to thanks Dr. Campbell, Dr. Shaikh, her Home Care workers and the staff of the Selkirk General Hospital. A special thank you to the staff of the Beausejour Health Centre, your care of Mom over these past few weeks will never be forgotten. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m from the Zion Lutheran Church, Beausejour, MB with Pastor Hugh Laidlaw officiating.
