EDWARD T. FINCH It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward T. Finch on August 22, 2005 at St. Boniface Hospital. He leaves to mourn his memory, son Edward, wife Barb and granddaughter Angela, great-grandsons Brandon and Dylan and grandson Mike; daughter Debbie and grandson Robert and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Ed was a Second World War veteran and after the war he worked for Kummen Shipman Electric along with 4 Seasons Electrical. He spent many happy years at the cabin with his children and grandchildren and was a longtime member of the Fort Garry Legion No. 90 on Pembina Highway. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, August 26 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. where he will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Myrtle Finch (September 6, 1972). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
