RUTH ELLEN MCINTOSH (nee CARLYLE) Peacefully on August 21, 2005 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Ruth McIntosh, aged 63 years, of Selkirk, MB. Ruth will be remembered and missed by her children, Alexander (Chantal), Rebecca, Dianna Dyer, Lynne Mayor (Norm); grandchildren, Bonnie, Lindsey and Alexander; brothers, Stewart, Carlyle, Bill, Roy, and Adrian; sister, Meryl; and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was born in Walford, ON on January 25, 1942 daughter of the late Bill and Katty Carlyle. She moved to Selkirk in the mid 80s and was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 42 and the Over 60 Club. Ruth was happiest being around children which she babysat for and entertained to her fullest ability. She leaves many fond memories with them. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 30 at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Clements Cemetery, Selkirk. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation, C.E., 501-840 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, R3A 1R9. Special thanks to the paramedics and staff of the Selkirk General Hospital and her special friends who were there when she needed them through the years.
