Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH JACKLYN SR. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth L. Jacklyn on August 22, 2005 at the age of 70, at Central Park Lodge. Kenneth was born on November 26, 1934 in Shelburne, NS. He was predeceased by his mother Annie, brother Edward, and stepson Donald. Left to mourn is his wife Roxie; stepchildren, David and Dianne from Winnipeg; Mary and Cheryl from British Columbia; and son Kenneth Jr. of Dauphin; also his biological children, Monica, Mona, Tim, and Susan all of Winnipeg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Verta and Janet of Shelburne, NS, Lil of New Brunswick, and many nieces and nephews. Kenneth served in the Korean War where he received the Korean medal. He worked for the commissionaires for the last 15 years before he retired. His passions were football, boxing, and wrestling. He loved and took part in baseball as well. He loved having family around him. He will be sadly missed, and always remembered. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Friday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Voyage Funeral Home.
