Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETRONELA KUCYK Peacefully, on Monday, August 22, 2005, at Holy Family Nursing Home, Petronela Kucyk, aged 93 years. Petronela was born on March 1, 1912, in Halychyna, Western Ukraine. She had resided in Winnipeg since 1960 and for the past eight years had been a resident of Holy Family Nursing Home. Petronela was a long standing member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral. Besides her dear son Joseph Yasinski, she leaves to cherish her memory, nephew Iwan (Maria) Nenich and family; niece Olga (John) Tymkiw and family, all of Winnipeg; numerous nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, Toronto and Ukraine. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Kucyk; her sister Anne Parastiuk; and brother-in-law John Parastiuk. Prayers will be sung 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 26 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 27 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor St., with Rt. Rev. Msgr. M. Buyachok officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
