FLORENCE (FRON) MAE SHAW (nee COURT) Peacefully, after a brief illness, it is with regret that we announce the passing of Fron Shaw, on Friday, August 19, 2005 at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her nephew Frank MacEachern and wife Fran; niece Sharon Pence and husband John; and many second cousins and friends. Fron was predeceased by her first husband Mack; second husband Elmer; parents, Florence and Charles Court; brother Les Court; and sister Ethel MacEachern. Fron lived in Norwood, and was involved in the Arts in Winnipeg. She joined the Air Force, entertaining the troops overseas and while there she met Mack Shaw. They married in Norwood and moved to Ottawa and later retired to Antigua. When Mack died, she moved to Lethbridge and married Elmer Fergason. After Elmer's death, she moved back to Winnipeg and later moved to Tuxedo Villa, where she stayed until her passing. In keeping with Fron's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Fron will be laid to rest with her mother and father in the Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
