LORI ANNE SARGEANT-RADOMSKI With her family at her side, Lori Anne Sargeant-Radomski passed away peacefully at the Regina Pasqua Hospital on August 22, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Lori wanted desperately to live and care for her children and she fought hard and endured much pain and discomfort for almost three years. Lori is survived by her husband of 17 years, Phil; and their five children, Jennifer, Melissa, Bridget, Breanne and Keegan. Lori is also survived by her mother, Mona Sargeant of Gimli; a brother Terry Sargeant; sisters, Gail Syberg (Christian), Linda Einarson (Gary), Eileen Soprovich (Dan) and Chris Sargeant (Jim Brittain); parents-in-law, Paul and Josie Radomski of Estevan; brother-in-law Alan Radomski (Maria); and sisters-in-law, Chris Radomski and Wanda Radomski (Mark). Lori also leaves numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her. Lori was predeceased by her father, Allan Sargeant, and a sister, Sharon. Lori was born October 20, 1962 in Gimli, MB, the youngest child of Allan and Mona Sargeant. Lori had a very happy childhood. She had a sweet and easygoing nature and, as the youngest, her parents and older siblings doted on her. She was our Little Lollipops and we adored her. Lori attended the University of Manitoba and received a Bachelor in Human Ecology. Next she completed an internship at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg and graduated as a Registered Dietician in 1985. Lori's professional career took her to Estevan and Regina, SK. The greatest joy in Lori's life was in her role as a mother. She loved her five beautiful children absolutely and she worked long and hard both at work and at home to provide and care for them. She was extremely proud of each of them and loved to share stories with family and friends of their accomplishments at school, at dance, on the soccer field and in all their many activities. She tried to attend all the school activities, dance recitals and sporting events that she could as she loved watching anything her children were involved in. Even as her illness progressed, she still wanted them close and loved having them with her as she read with them, did their hair or just cuddled. Lori had a very deep faith and belief in God. A funeral mass and a celebration of Lori's life took place in Regina on August 26. Friends may make a donation to a trust fund for the children's activities. Send donations to: Noble, Johnston and Associates, 1143 Lakewood Court N., Regina, S4X 3S3; Attention Bill Johnston.
