EMIL KIEL 1902 - 2005 Peacefully, Friday, August 26, 2005 Emil Kiel of Teulon passed away. A caring family man and hardworking pioneer, Emil will be missed by his family and the loving staff and residents at Goodwin Lodge. Dad was predeceased by his wife Elsie in 1982; parents, Henry and Emelia; three brothers and four sisters, Adolf, John, Rudy, Tilley, Helen, Winnie and Martha. Left to cherish his memory are his three sons and their families, Lawrence (Rose), Kenneth (Marlene), Marvin (Gladys); grandchildren, Deb (Ray), Doug (Laverne), Dennis (Daphne), Kevin (Bev), Brad (Debbie); and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Elliott, Tyler, Carter, Riley and Cameron. Emil came to Canada with his family when he was nine years old. Throughout his long, long life, Dad worked many jobs and even owned a hotel in Belle River, ON. Yet he always came back to farming. Over the years, the door at Emil and Elsie's was wide open for family and friends to celebrate special times together. We invite you to celebrate Emil's life. Friends may pay their respects from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 29 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Teulon at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Deb Kiel, Ray Gauthier, Doug, Dennis, Kevin and Brad Kiel. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Teulon, or to Goodwin Lodge. MACKENZIE FUNERAL HOME in care of arrangements.
