ALBERTINE NAULT (nee CHARETTE) 1909 - 2005 Our dearest mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27 at Tache Centre with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her husband Ovide; two sons, Luc and Levis; and two grandchildren, Elsie and Gerry; brothers, Adelard and George; sisters, Doris, Berthe and Bernadette. She will be greatly missed by her children, Eric (Rita), Marie, Georgina, Lina, Aurele (Claire), Claude (Florence) and Irene (Bert). Albertine was born in Sarto, MB, on January 10, 1909, raised her family in St. Pierre and eventually moved to Winnipeg in 1951. Once in Winnipeg, she went to work at the Tache Nursing Home as a seamstress for 25 years until her retirement. Her family was her whole life and she dedicated her time to helping her kids in whatever way she could, whether it was baking or sewing or by making huge gardens. She taught herself different crafts and created some very beautiful work. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 1 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd., with Rev. Fr. Fred Olds officiating. Pallbearers will be Rene Nault, Ron Nault, Terry Samborski, John Zaretski, Ron Ritchot and Collette Kruse. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Tache Centre as well as the many visitors she had during her stay at Tache.
