EDWARD MICHAEL GRESCHUK Peacefully, while at home, Edward Michael Greschuk passed into eternity to be with Jesus with his family by his side. Ed's life was filled with wonderful memories of times spent with his family, be it vacations, special projects, or quiet heartfelt moments where words were not necessary. Ed proudly reflected on the accomplishments of his family. He treasured friendships and always did what he could for others. Ed was born in Selkirk on August 6, 1956 to Adolph and Eva Greschuk of Tyndall, MB. His times in Tyndall were special. Sharing his life with his friends while growing up was always remembered. Ed was an altar boy at St. John the Baptist Church in Tyndall. He attended school in both Tyndall and Beausejour, graduating from Grade 12 and later Herzing College. Ed started his working career working with his father Adolph in the family trucking business. He helped in all aspects of Triple E Trucking. Ed later moved into real estate, selling for three other firms before starting up his own company, Ryson and Associates, which was named after his sons, Ryan and Jason. Ed's eldest son Ryan was recently introduced into the firm, which was an especially proud moment for him. Ed was so proud of his boys and their accomplishments. Ed was also a member of the Manitoba Pontiac Association for several years, where he proudly showed off his 65 Pontiac Parisienne Custom Sport convertible, which was his pride and joy. Ed was predeceased by his father Adolph (Ed) in 2004; father and mother-in-law, Mike and Mary Hladun; grandparents, Peter and Stella Greschuk and Mike and Mary Kupiak. He is survived by his beloved wife Grace and sons, Ryan and Jason; his mother Eva of Tyndall; brother David and sisters, Wanda Wenzoski (Allan), Louise Charney (Randy), Barbara Froese (Will), Crystal Greschuk (fiance Morley), Sheri Hadaller (Keith); brothers-in-law, Erny Hladun (Bev), Ron Hladun, and Harry Hladun; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 2 at 2:00 p.m. in Springs Church, 595 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, MB, with viewing one hour prior. Special thanks go to the Springs Church family, whose encouragement and support were exceptional and much appreciated. Ed's faith in Jesus Christ brought strength in our time of need. A special thanks also goes out to the doctors, nurses, health care aides, and staff on the third floor of Concordia Hospital who were so wonderful in caring for and encouraging Ed during his illness. You ran the race. You fought the good fight, and you finished well. We will love you always. Rock Fontaine Funeral Director in care of arrangements, (204) 223-2376 or (866) 499-2601
