LOUISE EDITH CHARNEY (EYJOLFSON) Beloved wife of Walter passed on at Arborg Health Centre, Tuesday, August 30, 2005. Louise was born at Riverton April 10, 1935 and lived all her life on the farm. She loved tending to animals and later with her husband Walter enjoyed farm life together. Louise loved horses and with her sister Thora enjoyed horseback riding and also, they made many wood carvings of horses. Louise spent later years sewing and making wool mitts and socks. She was predeceased by parents, Jon and Gudrun; brothers, Johannes and Lloyd; sisters, Jorun and Thora; niece Karen Beck; brothers-in-law, John Beck and Stefan Bjarnason. She is survived by husband Walter; brothers, John of Winnipeg, Stoney (Bernice) of Gimli, and Stefan (Pat) of Riverton; one sister Evelyn of Red Lake, ON; and many nieces and nephews and cousins and one aunt Joa Smith of Arborg. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3 at St. John Baptist Church, Ledwyn, MB. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michal Johnson, Joe Lupky, Ernest Eyolfson, Ian Eyolfson, Doug Eyjolfson, Greg Nordal. Thanks for kindness shown by doctors and nurses at Arborg Health Centre. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
