EVA MURPHY February 27, 1913 - August 30, 2005 Peacefully on August 30, 2005, Eva Ellen Murphy of Eriksdale, MB, went to be with the Lord at the age of 92 years. Eva was born in 1913 in Roconville, SK. On September 8, 1937, she married William Murphy. In 1942, they moved to the Mulvihill area of Manitoba to farm together until his passing. In 2001, Eva moved to the Eriksdale Personal Care Home, where she was lovingly cared for by the staff there, for which their family is forever grateful. Eva leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Neil (Terri) and Buck (Geri); grandchildren, Ned (Bev), Denise, Lisa (Patrick), Monica (Steve), Mike (Melissa) and P.J. (Candy); as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Eva was predeceased by her husband, Bill Murphy and a daughter in infancy. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Family Funeral Home, 9 Railway Ave., Ashern, MB. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Eriksdale Municipal Cemetery. Jim Anderson officiating.
