COLLEEN MARVEL JOHNSON August 24, 1929 - August 31, 2005 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen Marvel Johnson on August 31, 2005, at the Victoria General Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Colleen was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Adolphe Bonne; and her sister Vivian Bonne. Colleen is survived by her brother Clyde Wood and wife Jan, and cousin Ruth Omireo; her two daughters, Jocelyn Nowatzki and husband Jay, Heather Callaghan and husband Warren; grandchildren, Robin Conner (William), Darcee Mc Janett (Mark), Stacey Anderson, (Wade), Colleen Mellen (Joshua), and Jay Nowatski Jr.; great-grandchildren, Owen Conner, Jacqueline Connor, Caleb Connor, Griffin Connor, and Keeley Anderson; dear friends, Evelyn Heft, Grace Picur, and Irene Galaschuk. Colleen was born in Winnipeg, and was a lifetime resident of Fort Garry. Colleen graduated from Grandin School, and had been employed by S.I.R. Gambles, and the Manitoba Government. Her hobbies included knitting, crochet, singing in a choir, reading and spending time with loved ones. Her family would like to thank the Victoria General Hospital nursing staff, and her physician Dr. R Hayward for their excellent care. She is loved and will be missed very much. A memorial service to honour her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 5 at VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1531 Pembina Hwy.
