JULIETTE MARIE HOGLUND After a lengthy battle with cancer, Julie peacefully passed away with her husband Gerry, daughter Jeannine and her best friend Maureen, beside her on August 28, 2005. Julie never gave up hope or determination and was a positive force in her own life, as well in the life of her loved ones. Julie leaves to mourn, her soul mate and husband Gerry; children, Rosanne (Mark), Dave (Connie), Richard (Jackie), John-Paul (Yvonne), Dean (Melanie), and Jeannine (Jeremy) all of Winnipeg. Julie also had 16 grandchildren whom she loved and adored, they always brightened up her day when they came to visit. She is also survived by her sisters, Loretta, Trudy, Gail and brothers, Herb, Gary, and Paul. Julie worked for Child and Family Services for over 13 years and touched the hearts of hundreds of kids. She was very sensitive, caring, and loved to help others. She inspired her co-workers and enjoyed the friendship of many people. She was also a proud member of AA for over 18 years. Julie was proud of all of her children and provided a safe and friendly home for them as well as her grandchildren who loved to visit grandma. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Inkster with Julie's longtime friend, Len Perry as officiant. In lieu of flowers, Julie wished donations to be made to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
