DANNY JEFFREY MCCLURE It is with great sadness the family announces the untimely passing of Dan on September 1, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital, due to heart failure. Dan was born March 5, 1955 in Winnipeg, MB. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Ralph and Nora (Joan); three children, Jessica, Jeffrey, Charlene (Jay) and grandchildren, Brandy, Brittney, Parker; his sisters, Darlene, Cindy (Bob), Tammy (Tim), Kelly (Dave). He is also survived by nieces and nephews whom he was very close. He will be deeply missed by his ex-wife Karen who is still part of the family who he enjoyed going out for coffee or just to sit around and watch TV with, also by numerous relatives and close friends. Dan had a full life of being a Jack of all Trades type of man. Over the years he had many jobs that taught him a new trade and he enjoyed teaching them to others. He was a back yard mechanic which he enjoyed working on cars with his son and nephews. His summer weekend enjoyment would be to go to Lockport or Selkirk Park and fish with his family with bets as to who would catch the first, the biggest, and the most fish and brag that he was the winner for the next couple of days. What he had hoped to do the most was to get a '57 Chevy and rebuild it with Jeffrey and then put it in car shows. Dan was predeceased by his grandparents, Nellie and George Pearson, William and Margret McClure; Uncle Walter (Wally) McClure and Uncle William (Bill) McClure. In respect with Dan's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service for Dan at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway on Tuesday, September 6 at 1:00 p.m. A private family interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations would be gratefully accepted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3L 0K6. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 Broadway - 783-7211
