Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ELSPETH JEAN NEVILE Jean Nevile passed away Friday, September 2, 2005 at St. Boniface General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Jean was born July 2, 1916 in Winnipeg, the second child of Douglas and Isobel McKay. She graduated from St. John's High School in 1934. She met her future husband Lister in Hudson, ON. They were married on June 10, 1941. During her married life, Jean lived in Winnipeg, Meadow Lake, SK, Portage La Prairie, Riverton, Gimli, Neepawa and, finally once again, Winnipeg. Jean was predeceased by her brother Jim (1970), son Martin (1991), husband Lister (2000) and daughter Naomi (2005). Jean is survived by her children, Donald (Jeannette), Lesley Jean Morgan (Rod), Philip (Terri); brothers, Bill (Melba), Don (Thelma); sister-in-law Doreen McKay; daughter-in-law Maryann; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 8, 11:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway Ave., with interment to follow at Gimli Cemetery.
