Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE DAVID KUHN Passed away peacefully at Campbell River Hospital, BC on August 12, 2005. Born in Winnipeg April 22, 1920, he was an active member of the community and involved in a number of different organizations such as the Jay Cees and Gyro Clubs. During the Second World War, he served with the Army and later on became Commanding Officer of the Winnipeg Sea Cadet Corps. In 1956, he moved to Montreal and at the time of his retirement in 1971, to Vancouver Island and was President of Canadian Schenley Distilleries and President and Chief Executive Officer of Park and Tilford Distilleries. He liked to golf, garden, listen to music and travel, but most of all, he loved and enjoyed his family and friends. George is predeceased by his loving wife Dora, and is survived by his daughter, Beverley McDonald, grandchildren Jennifer (Mark) McDonald-Beasse and Christopher McDonald, great-granddaughters Kennedy and Taylor, sister Valerie (Edward) Clerke, and many nieces and nephews. He has left us all a legacy of love and laughter. - The McDonald family.
