BENEDICT CHRISTOPHER (CHRIS) POWER It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Chris Power of Pine Falls, MB at the age of 60 years. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Eugene (Frances) of British Columbia, George, Sarah (Owen), Violet (Joe), Theresa (Charles) all of Newfoundland and Charlie (Sandy) of British Columbia; his special friend Irene; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Chris was predeceased by his parents, William Joseph and Mary Ellen Power; and a brother Tom. Chris moved west at an early age and had lived in the Pine Falls area for the last 25 years. He was a carpenter by trade and worked throughout northern Manitoba. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 9 at 11:00 a.m. from the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church, Powerview, MB with Fr. James Gray Presiding. If friends so desire memorial donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. RUSSELL'S of Beausejour, Manitoba are in care of arrangements.
