FRANCES (MOFFAT) MCMURRAY On Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at the Victoria General Hospital, Frances McMurray passed away at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by Jack, her beloved husband of 59 years; her brothers, Douglas, Andrew and Robert; her sisters, Olive, Alison and Shelagh. Fran leaves to mourn her passing her sons, Doug of Winnipeg, John (Fran) of Sidney, BC; her daughter Glenna (Doug) Enns of Victoria, BC; her grandchildren, Gordon, Michael and Kathryn; sisters, Kathryn (Bill) Lawson of Winnipeg, Connie Moffat (Stan) of Sidney; and numerous nieces and nephews. Fran lived in Winnipeg all her life. She was a devoted member of the United Church of Canada. She served on various committees with Westminster, John Black, St. Vital United and was a life member of United Church Women. Fran had a lively interest in the arts, particularly theatre and ballet which she enjoyed with her many friends. Fran lived in Lindenwood Manor for the past several years. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 10, St. Mary's Road United Church, 613 St. Mary's Rd., with Rev. Susan Tough officiating. Fran will be laid to rest with her husband Jack at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held following the service at the church.
