Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET (PEGGY) PETRAKOS (nee KINSELLA) 1920 - 2005 On Wednesday, September 14, on her 85th birthday, Margaret Petrakos passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital. She was a wonderful, vibrant woman who will be terribly missed by her beloved son John, granddaughter Bronwyn and husband Graham, great-grandchildren, Ethan and Jake and niece Daphane. Predeceased by her husband Andrew who was a prominent businessman, her parents the Kinsellas of Norwood, her brother Jim who died in the Second World War and Barbara her sister. Peggy was extremely active and loved to keep busy by being involved in several charities, her main focus being the Variety Club. Her interests were painting, stained glass art, entertaining on her yacht at the Royal Manitoba Yacht Club in the summers, and spending relaxing winters with friends in Pompano Beach, Florida where she had many friends. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the St. Boniface or Grace Hospital or to the Variety Club of Winnipeg. A celebration of Peggy's life will be held on Wednesday, September 21, at 11:00 a.m. in the Bridge Church, 620 Oxbow Bend Rd. SW corner of Portage Avenue and the Perimeter.
