(ARLENE) DENISE LONDON nee KOWALSON (LANE) 1942 - 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our sister, aunt and dear friend, Denise, at her home on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the age of 63 years. Denise is survived by her sister Karen Hand; brother Archie (Alexia) Kowalson of B.C.; brother Randy (Carole) Kowalson; nieces Barbara Kowalson and Karen Ramirez; nephews David and Robert Hand, Warren, Scott, Michael Kowalson and their families as well as her stepson Horace London of Glasgow, Scotland. She was predeceased by her first husband John Lane; son Darcy Lane; second husband Horace London; mother Violet Kowalson; brothers-in-law Winston Hand and Michael Hales. Denise was born and raised in Winnipeg and spent many years in the restaurant industry. In later years she was a well known and trusted as a tarot card, palm and psychic reader in the city and travelled for many years throughout Canada to various psychic fairs. She was known for her feisty personality, character and style. Denise always enjoyed a good joke and the memory of her laugh will bring smiles to all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
