JUNE RAMONA CHARTRAND June 9, 1972 - March 1, 2006 It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of June, our dear daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister and aunt, on Wednesday, March 1, 2006. June is survived by her parents Linda and Glen Chartrand; daughters, Courtney and Isabella (Ali Akabari); sister Sonia Thomas, brothers, Glenn Chartrand and Kevin Ross (Anna), grandparents, Joe and Clara Aneechin; nieces, Cheyenne and Chantel; nephews, Jordan and Destin; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend, Ken Boyce. June grew up in Winnipeg, but resided in Thunder Bay for a number of years, where she has several friends who knew her. She recently moved back to Winnipeg where she could be closer to her loved ones. The family affectionately knew June as Lil' Poof and Jello . Grandma Aneechin will miss her sweet little baby . June was known for the beauty of her spirit (she was as beautiful as a movie star), she had a very kind and giving personality. She loved to cook and took pride in decorating her home, using her skill at sewing and crafts. Many friends and family members mourn June's passing: her best friend since childhood, Vera McGovern; special Uncles - David, Bruce (Claudette), Garry (Jackie), Floyd, Howard (Tammy); Aunties - Vivian (Robert) and Lydia, as well as numerous aunts and uncles from the Bone, Chartrand and Swampy families. • June was beautiful and had a way to make you love her right away. She was dear to me and I admired and respected her very much. I did not know she died until Sunday morning when another friend told me about her. I'm saddened by it all and always had fond memories of her. I always wondered where she was and how she was. I will always love June and remember her kind spirit. - Posted by: Stacey Wabasse (Friend) on: Jul 03, 2012
