Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBISNAUTH SINGH Bisnauth Singh aged 80 passed away peacefully in his sleep the morning of January 26, 2007. He was born May 13, 1926 in Sisters Village, Guyana where during his leisure time from his job as a construction foreman for the Guyanese government, he enjoyed singing bajans and studying religious texts. Always a faithful advocate and teacher for Hinduism, he fulfilled his dream of becoming a pandit later in life, after emigrating to Winnipeg, MB, Canada in 1982. In Winnipeg he worked as a security guard, again being a faithful supporter of Hindu religion and culture in a growing community. Bisnauth was always accepting, and pleased to teach anyone who was willing about the sacred principles of Dharma or living an ethically religious life. This is indeed the principle on which the deceased based his life. Bisnauth will be lovingly missed by his wife Dhanrajie Singh and seven children, Dewan Singh, Anand Singh, Savitri Ramraj, Indra Raj, Dalo Hansraj, Shanti Paryag, Sandra Singh, and daughter in-law, and sons in law, as well as his fifteen grandchildren and great-grandchild, Rheanna. Bisnauth also will be greatly missed within the Hindu community in which he has served so graciously. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30th, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
